CSM Begins Production on Fully Automated Solar Line in Central Texas

CSM Completes Installation of Fully Automated Solar Line in Central Texas

December 1, 2024 CSM announced today that it has successfully run its first solar modules through Line 1 of its newly constructed, fully automated solar manufacturing facility. The modules will undergo certification testing and operational burn-in before being released for commercial deployment.

Located in Central Texas, the facility will produce Tier-1 solar panels for use in utility-scale solar projects developed by CSM and its affiliates. Once fully operational, Line 1 is expected to produce approximately 440 MW annually, against a nameplate capacity of 550 MW.

The project development and construction has been led by TNX Holdings, Inc., a renewable energy development and implementation firm. TNX oversaw both the development and construction of the facility. TNX's President Charlie Fiechter has also served as interim President of CSM throughout the construction and commissioning phase. He says, “Domestic energy production is critical to national strength and security. By manufacturing high-quality solar panels here in the United States, we’re not just building energy infrastructure—we’re building resilience, jobs, and independence. CSM’s Texas facility is proof that American engineering and execution can lead the global energy transition. We’re proud to lead the charge with Made-in-USA panels designed for America’s future.”

“This is an important step toward strengthening domestic solar manufacturing,” said Fiechter. “We’re proud to be producing Tier-1 modules here in Texas to support our utility-scale pipeline.”
